Whiskey Presentation Case for Louis de Bourbon

Gifted to His Royal Highness Louis XX, Duc d’Anjou, this case is built from Illinois Walnut and Missouri Butternut with a hand-rubbed oil and beeswax finish.

Made in St. Louis for the descendant of the city’s namesake, a small piece of Florissant’s French roots sent across the Atlantic.

Shoe Horn For The Holy Father

Hand-carved in cherry wood with an olive wood hilt, this piece represents both the ancient holiness of the papacy represented in the choice of the olive wood and the honest American roots of Leo XIV as represented in the choice of the cherry wood.

This piece also bears carvings in the hilt inspired by the Holy Father’s Coat of Arms.

About the Maker

Rooted in Florissant.

Milton Weis has been crafting from lumber for the better part of a decade — first as a Boy Scout learning the fundamentals, then as a craftsman pursuing excellence in every joint and grain.

His work pays homage to the French heritage of St. Louis and the no-nonsense character of Missouri. Whether it’s an Adirondack chair built to weather decades on a back porch or a whiskey presentation box crafted for European royalty, the approach is the same: let the wood speak for itself, and let the craft of the maker show.

Every piece starts with the material. The grain, the ebbing and flowing of the figure, the weight in your hand. The design follows the wood, not the other way around.
